Yesterday was epic : waiting for two hours, outside, in the cold while desperate gals pushed and shoved is no fun but we ended up somehow inside where the hysteria was nothing compared to the outside ...
Girls (and boys) were all over the place, some fighting (litteraly) over black and white linen t-shirts... And as you can see in the picture, some of the other customers actually undressed the on-show mannequins to get a hold of the last silver bomber...
I went with my best friend, and after loosing track a few times of one another, we found a corner of the shop, near the walls, where we ended up having a very good time laughing at the scene that was playing right before our eyes. This was our first time at a such event (more into late Sunday browsing and window shopping, normaly) so we know now that this is not for us.
But been there, done that. We although got a hold of a few things : a simple white linen shirt for Justine (and a hanger) and the grey coat for me.
About the collection itself, I have to say that some pieces are really nice and look like real Isabel Marant : nicely manufactured and well-sized, when some of the other stuff ... Well, I guess it's normal. But the prizing is actually fair and a good surprise waited me at home : My wool coat was made in Romania, which is a good thing, when you know how the fast-fashion industry can be sometimes.
After all, it was very good night.
Ha love this! I did the whole crazy Isabel Marant mosh pit shopping
