A Winter Tale
A Winter Tale is the tale of a fair young Russian Princess. Left alone by her Prince in Paris, she longs back to her natal Winter Palace. While the Russian Revolution prevents her from returning to St. Petersburg, she will have to face the lights of Paris and from Odette's ashes raises Odile, strong, emancipated and free, floating trought the mist like a swan on a silver lake.
I would like to thank everyone who have helped me with this first story for Maxim Leone : Alexandra B., my model who brought my fantasies to life ; Justine B. for being the best on-set assistant one can dream of ; Alexandre Antoine and La Galerie de L'Opéra de Paris, for their patience and the loan of their incredible selection of prêt-à-porter.
Parts I & II will be posted shortly.

On the Line
I had to feature this on the blog : The Line and The Apartment are Vanessa Traina's new project and the concept is just amazing. The concept is an high-end online shop, an actual So-Ho shop and complementary selections. There'll be a whole load of different events, like screenings, workshops or dinners and possibility to meet the designers, stylists, and all the people responsible of the magic of modern commerce.
We are living in a society where the web has taken enourmous proportions and from a local point of view, people tend to turn back to more intimate, classic kind of commerce (like the local markets for example) and to more human relations. Combining the two is abow the usual shop/e-shop that most of brands and concept store have been doing over the last years and drews the line for a whole new shopping experience.
Needless to say, Vanessa Traina's selection is eclectic and unique, just like her. Being a junior buyer, this really inspires me. I like the concept of suggesting an entire art de vivre, from the bathroom essentiels to the furniture, passing by fashion and accessoires.
I'll have to plan a trip to New York soon !
