Last night with FOB Paris

Last night, FOB Paris was having a party at Hôtel Particulier, in the 18th arrondissement, featuring their Rehab collection. The concept is simple, yet unique : men's automatic pocket watches, with interchangeable "masks" and a clean steel chain.

Details from the Hommage a Yves Saint Laurent by D. Ludot

I went by the Salon du Vintage at La Cité de la Mode et du Design, a everything-vintage fair where you can find everything from a russian scarf to vintage Vionnet or Chanel.
Didier Ludot selected for the occasions twent something looks of vintage Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture, designed by Yves himself. The setting was simple, the dresses where shown on simple Stockman mannequins and you got to get a close look of the details like those feathers or this sequin dress. What is amazing with Paris Haute Couture is that it's often very simple, but crafted with such skills and onirisme that the most simple black dress blows your mind away. At Pierre Huyghe

I had such a great time today at the Beaubourg museum : The Pierre Huyghe exhibit was amazing !
The idea of artwork evolving in space is great. I tryed to caught the pink-painted dog but he was all over the place. Poor thing, it must be tiring walking around all day showing off like that...
It's great to finally visit an exhibition where you can touch the artwork and feel the idea behind it all.

If you happen to be in Paris, pay a visit to the Centre Pompidou here.

On my feet

On my feet, my old Birkenstock, so old they fit my feet perfectly. With the return of grunge and Phoebe Philo's high-end take on comfort, it's finally acceptable to wear them outside again ! I never stopped but feeling fashionable when going out in those is quite funny. A lot of people have been messing around with my Birk's for years but now they're loving it.  Some still have some problems with the combo Birken-Socks but hey, fall has hit Paris now and I don't want to stay home sick when my favorite season has finally decided to join the party. I love fall : falling leaves, gloomy shades of colors, hot beverages and a whole load of chocolate. And the best : afternoon walks in the parks ...
